eLearning

I have been developing instructional materials with the latest technologies since 2011, back when Moodle was still gaining a foothold in the Ashland School District as a new Learning Management System. Since then, I have become a self-taught Instructional Design artist, utilizing a variety of tools to create eLearning solutions for adults and adolescents alike.

Articulate Storyline

Storyline 360 is an industry-standard authoring software for instructional designers. Due to current limitations, I am unable to share work I have completed for my most recent client. Not to say I don’t dabble in eLearning Heroes Challenges from time to time to enhance and practice my skills. Check out my most recent creation in response to #459: Using Photo Mosaics to Design Interactive Stories.

Genially

Genially is a powerful no-code platform for interactive visual communication. Surprisingly, I have never utilized this tool until 2024. As part of a learning assignment associated with the IDOL Academy’s Certification Program, I created an interactive infographic showcasing Merril’s First Principles of Instruction.

Canva

Who would have ever thought of Canva as an eLearning authoring tool? It was a successful learning solution and confirmed the idea that short videos and demonstrations are the best way to reach young learners.
